Can You Hear Us Now?

May 18th, 2014

Can You Hear Us Now?

Can You Hear Us Now? is a painting about two things. The first is regarding the afterlife. Do we ever end? Is there a continuance of our soul? I think there is and life goes on at one level or another.

The second has to do with our legacy and in this case the legacy of these musicians. I still hear them today through their music and I still get the same feeling today as I did when I first hear them play their songs...maybe even more so.

Can You Hear Us Now? is ultimately a tribute to these musicians, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix (from my home town Seattle), George Harrison, John Lennon and last but not least (just because we went from left to right) the legendary Janis Joplin.

Their message continues.

Life Is Good

Life Is Good

I will make this short. A few years ago I read a book written by a 101 year old black man who had watched the changes taking place over that long period of time. His conclusion was, "Life is good...and I believe it's getting better all the time."

I think he's right. Though many things can happen over the course of time I am firmly entranched in the idea "That all things energize together for good to those who love God, to those who are invited to life in harmony with His purpose."

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
